Our collections are reenvisioned from ancient jewelry and family heirlooms into modern objects, creating timeless pieces that tell a story. Since the beginning, our jewelry embraces the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi: the concept of the impermanence of beauty. Our collections have often been described as “creating jewelry for the non-jewelry wearer.” Each piece is designed to be worn day in and out as a simple adornment.
Our jewelry is handcrafted with care in our Portland studio. We craft our pieces using traditional metalsmithing techniques and tools, giving special attention to detail and embracing natural imperfections of the hand at work.
We value earth’s natural resources, which is why we are committed to low-impact production from start to finish. Our jewelry is made from recycled raw metals that are mined ethically, without plating or harsh chemicals. After production, we give our waste back to our casters and suppliers to be melted down and reused for future pieces. Our jewelry is packaged in organic cotton or compostable bags, and recycled paper boxes.
